The extension cable is for use with the standard/non-programmable tank monitoring systems.
When installing the water tank sensors into your caravan/camper trailer/camper van/4wd tourer, and the cable is too short, a 2.5m extension may help. This simply plugs in between the standard sender and either the standard LED or LCD tank monitoring gauge. When choosing your tank monitoring senders (or float as some call it), options come with 2.5m, 5.0m, or 7.5m cable so with this extension it can reach up to 10m!
Not compatible with the programmable tank monitoring range.
